Wine Profile
Wine Profile / Tasting Notes
Audarya Nuragus di Cagliari is a delightful expression of the Nuragus grape, showcasing the traditional charm of Sardinia. This wine presents a straw yellow color with light green tinges. On the nose, it is fragrant with aromatic nuances of essential herbs, complemented by floral hints, sweet flowers, yellow flowers, and orange blossom. The palate reveals a rich flavor profile with a pleasant softness, characterized by citrus and tree fruit notes such as apple and peach, along with subtle minerality and a hint of salinity that adds complexity and charm. The natural freshness and delicate acidity, coupled with a silky texture, make it a well-balanced and highly enjoyable wine.

Winemaker Notes
The light is the white and blinding light of the islands, and this city, Serdiana, is an island inside an island, surrounded as it is by water and reflection. Here, the wind mixes up the perfumes of sea and land, telling tales of adventures and walls to climb. The sun comes down and people listen, sitting on the promenade, with a glass of light in their hand.
Food & Wine Pairing
Fregola (small balls of semolina) and Sardinian little gnocchi (malloreddus) prepared the Carlofortina way (pesto, basil, olive oil, cherry tomatoes), semi cured cheeses. Sea bass with vernaccia wine, capon with potatoes and fresh cherry tomatoes.
