Wine-Specific Conditions

Legal Requirements

You must be 21 years of age or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from DOCG Imports. Receipt of shipments containing alcoholic beverages requires the signature of a sober adult (a person 21 years of age or older who is not intoxicated). Wines purchased from DOCG Imports are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only.

Credit Card Charges

Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

Minimum Purchase

No minimum purchase is required.

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

DOCG Imports ships directly throughout California.  For shipping to other States, DOCG Imports can manage this as a service for customers who request shipping to their home state.  This service is avaialble for all states with the eception of:  AL, KY, MS, ND, SD, UT, VT and NH.

Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from DOCG Imports to the purchaser in the State of Califoernia and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping of it from California to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine via common carrier, DOCG Imports is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. You will be billed for this service. By utilizing this service from DOCG Imports, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

Shipping Costs for CA

Federal Express Ground is DOCG Imports' carrier of choice for California. Ground shipping is provided by Federal Express Ground at current market rates. *Note – If the customer selects Fed Ex Air as his or her carrier, the customer pays all shipping charges, regardless of his or her wine club membership or purchase amount.

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. DOCG Importsis not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment. When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.
