Arguably one of the top Vermentino di Gallura wines and one that we are most proud to import! This wine has a straw yellow color with typical greenish reflections. It boasts an elegant and refined bouquet, with a full flavor and long persistence on both the nose and palate. Notes of white pulp fruit, pear, peach, and flowers typical of the Mediterranean bush, such as hawthorn and wild pear, are present, along with hints of orange peel and grapefruit. The finish is long and persistent, with almond and mineral notes. Truly excellent!

Vineyard Notes
The vineyards are composed of predominantly sandy soils derived from decaying granite with a light clayish layer.
Production Notes
40,000 bottles produced. The grapes are pressed without prior destemming. After that the must is clarified through settling and it ferments at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is aged on the lees for eight months.
Winemaker Notes
"Lupus in Fabula means": "speak of the wolf, and he will come". It turns to be unexpected in the taste and the sensations it gives.
Food & Wine Pairing
Harmoniously accompanies any dish made with fish or white meat. Also, very good with Pecorino or other strong cheese. Serve at 10° C / 50° F.
