This dessert wine is made from overripe white grapes. It has an intense golden yellow color, with aromas of dehydrated apricot, wildflower honey, and Mediterranean maquis. On the palate, the wine is sweet and well-balanced, with a natural freshness due to the overripeness.
Vineyard Notes
Vineyard location: Serdiana. Soil Type: clay-limestone soil. Altitude: 200 meters above sea level. Average age of the vines: 20 years. Training system: espaliered bushes. Density: 5,000 plants per hectare. Yield: 35/40 quintals per hectare.
Production Notes
The drying happens naturally by cutting the fruiting cane on the vine. Maceration on the skins lasts for 36 hours, followed by soft pressing and slow fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats.
